We successfully made it home from the hospital after driving about 10 miles per hour with "baby on board". It was quite a trip knowing we had a three day old baby in the back seat. In fact, since we've been home, I've had multiple reality checks thinking "Oh yeah, we have a baby at home". But it's been awesome. He's been sleeping pretty well, or at least when he finally falls asleep around 2:30 am. So needless to say we've been a little sleep deprived, but getting by with the help of grandparents.
As new parents we've been learning things quickly, one such example that it's always good to cover little Oliver's below section whenever you take off his diaper, because for some reason the second that diaper comes off he starts peeing...all over the place. During the most recent incident he was slightly on his side and took dead aim at daddy. Below is a picture of his target:
Oliver taking aim at daddy after taking his diaper off...seriously, he peed my pants for me.

We continue to be amazed at how this little guy makes us smile, and how you can just stare at him for hours on end. His sounds, smells, tiny body parts and facial expressions (especially when he's pooping) continue to amaze us as we learn more about him. Life has certainly changed forever...
I"m sure it's nice to be home with Oliver! Thanks for the diaper tip as we are still rookies in the parent department! Love the pic though and appreciate the reality of it all. Again, congrats, Mom and Dad Nipp!
